One of the best parts of teaching middle school was getting to hang out with all of the outsized personalities that were the fine arts teachers. Being in a  room full of singers, dancers, musicians, visual artists, and thesbians was always a hoot. And these fine folks loved to laugh. As a matter of fact, one administrator jokingly said that no more than two of us could be in a room at the same time because all of our laughs together were so loud, we were disturbing nearby classes. Oh the fun we had.
